New Christian Education Program for Children and Youth to Begin in September

We will formally divide our formal Christian formation program into two separate ministries:  Children and Youth.  A new position, Director of Children’s Ministries, will focus on our Sunday morning Christian education program.  This program will be held at the same time as last year, beginning with Sunday worship in the main sanctuary and Children’s Chapel at the 9:30 a.m. hour followed by Church School at 10:00 a.m. in the MCS building for all lower grades.   The new position of Director of Youth Ministries will focus on the spiritual development of our teenagers strengthening their relationship with each other, learning more about their faith, and reaching out in mission and discipleship within our community.
